Most investing apps are built around connecting accounts and collecting financial data. Red Start Journal is deliberately different: no advertising, no third-party analytics, no tracking cookies, no data selling and no broker or bank connection.
- No brokerage credentials, bank details, card numbers or government IDs
- No legal name required: use a pseudonymous username and email sign-up
- Private by default, with amounts hidden unless you choose to show them
- Imported files are read on your device; only entries you confirm are saved
Google sign-in is optional. If you choose it, Google shares the name and profile details needed for that sign-in.
